My path has never been linear. For a long time I thought that meant I was falling behind, but I now understand that every chapter shaped the work I do and the way I support the people I serve.
I grew up in London within a Jamaican and Polish family, surrounded by stories of migration, resilience and uneven opportunity. Those early experiences taught me what it feels like to sit outside traditional paths and how deeply identity shapes the way we move through the world. They also sparked my curiosity about people and purpose. That curiosity led me to study psychology before my journey expanded into creativity, entrepreneurship, marketing and communications.
Across the years I built and ran businesses in wellbeing, jewellery and creative production, and worked across social care, the arts, media and PR. Each experience strengthened my belief that visibility changes everything. It shapes confidence, opportunity, credibility and cultural influence. I watched talented, mission-driven people struggle to be seen, while visibility often flowed toward those who were not driven by integrity or positive impact. As someone who has navigated multiple intersections, including neurodivergence and queerness, I know how it feels to build a life outside the usual mould. It is the reason I have so much compassion for people who are carving out their own space in the world.
I founded Nova Bridge to help change that dynamic. I work with founders, leaders, creators and artists who are committed to people and planet. My work combines more than a decade of experience across marketing, strategic communications, storytelling, media strategy and brand positioning. I help clients articulate their identity, clarify their message, strengthen their presence and build the kind of visibility that leads to influence, opportunity and sustainable growth. Many of the people I work with have taken non-traditional paths of their own, and they recognise parts of their story in mine.
Nova Bridge exists to support these individuals in communicating with clarity and confidence, building trust through their story and showing up in ways that align with their purpose. It is a space where visibility becomes a tool for influence, impact and ethical growth.
If I could speak to my younger self, I would tell her that a non-linear path is not a sign of failure. It is a sign of depth, courage and becoming.
